In Memory of My Girls.
I have had some wonderful girls over the years, my very first was Bernax Crow Sacred Bow Aisha to her friends I did a bit of showing with her she had a couple of litters only two pups in each and both by Caesarean and nothing I wanted to keep.
Then I had Kernow Summer Love at Bernfold (Kelly) she came from Shandy Bridges and was a lovely girl plenty of bone and substance produced some super pups.
One being Ch. Bernfold Winter Breeze she was the cheeckiest naughtiest bernese I have owned but as soon as you put her in the show ring she lost all her sparkle just did not like it but still managed to make her up she was very pretty and movement excellent. Her kennel mate was Ch Manjanco Loretta at Duntiblae (Retta) She came to me from Diana Cochrane a very sensitive girl that looked for something to upset her took things far too seriously but Breeze soon sorted her out and showed her how to get the best out of life.
Then came Chapbern Marbles Melodie at Bernfold what a sweetie she was we have only recently had to say goodbye to her you could not wish to meet a happier girl then Mell her tail never stopped wagging and she always had a smile. I showed her and she did very well but she was not the biggest of girls and it was always a disadvantage to her but she did have some lovely pups Bernfold Future is Amazin (Mazies)was a bitch a kept from her first litter lovely girl, but was not keen on the showring and no luck as a broad bitch. (Bernfold Miss Molly is one of that I kept from her last litter she is 4 years old now and she is beautiful just like her Mum.) Mazies Kennel mate was Bernfold High Five another one that did well in the show ring and produced some lovely pups both her and Mazie spent a wonderful retirement with friends of mine Graham and Diane and they lost them both very sadly to Cancer within months of each other
